Mint 400 2019 | GRID Off-Road

The 2019 Mint 400 was was held in Las Vegas, NV, from March 6th – 10th and, of course, GRID was there for all the action! Dubbed as The Great American Off-Road Race, the event was a hit, with people from all across the globe attending the festivities. While we didn’t make it out to the desert for the actual race, we did hit up all the action on Freemont St. and showcased a few rigs and wheels. On display was a lifted Benz G-Wagon, which was a rugged change from the sleek Benz you’d normaly see on the streets. It sat on a set of 22×12 GD9 GRID Off-Road wheels in a matte bronze and milled finish wrapped in Toyo Open Country M/T tires. The 12″ Bulletproof Suspension lift really set made peple stop and admire the luxury SUV’s bold new look!

We also had the orange camo Jeep JL built in collaboration with Fab Fours on some GD9s. The Jeep sports new Fab Fours armor for a distinctive look, Nexen Tires, Xprite Lighting and a custom Roadwire inteiror. We also showed off some of our UTV GX wheels! There was a Polaris RS1, which is the new single passenger race car, rocking an all-new suspension by King shocks and a set of GX wheels, in addition to a RZR Turbo with FOX suspenion built by Cognito Motorsports on GX2s.

But the real gem in our booth was the Lamborghini LM002 built by Italian Design and Racing on GF8 GRID wheels. As the rarest original SUV/truck, with limitied production models worldwide, the LM002 is seriously a sight to behold. While many thin think that the new Urus is Lambo’s first forray into something other than an exotic, they’d be surprised to know that the LM002 was way before its time! The LM002 was made between 1986 and 1993, the “Lamborghini truck” was part of a series of vehicles called the Lamborghini Militaria. Everyone that saw it were shocked to know it was an actual Lamborghini and loved its GRID Forged wheels! We always have a blast at The Mint 400 and look forward to next year’s show.
